Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013) Romance/Drama

Writer/Director Richard Linklater (Boyhood, School of Rock) brings us into the story of a romance told across three decades. Ethan Hawke (Dead Poets Society, Training Day) and Julie Delpy (The Bachelors) star as a couple of star crossed lovers who explore the conflicts of human desire and romantic virtues over the course of three days, roughly ten years apart. Hawkes’ american writer and Delpy’s french humanitarian challenge one another to consider the honest human condition and the idea that love is bound by fate. Sleeping With Other People (2015) Comedy/Drama

Jason Sudeikis (We’re the Millers) and Allison Brie (Community) star in this spiritual remake of the classic romcom When Harry Met Sally. The two struggle with the complexities of sex and friendship as they fight to become grown adults. This movie is raunchy and hilarious, yet it finds a way to hit emotional cords that most modern comedies fail to reach. Through and through this is a fun watch and worth the time.
